As an editor specializing in IT, I have been busy presenting the inner workings of IT for more than twelve years.

After several years as an specialized editor for renowned technical IT networking publication LANline, I have held the position of LANline's managing editor since April 2008.

A collection of my LANline articles can be found here (all of them in German, I'm afraid ;-).

Previously, I used to work as an PR account manager for a Munich IT PR agency, and then as an IT editor for technical publication Midrange Magazin.

I hold a Ph.D. degree in American Studies, and for three years have worked for Munich's Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU), teaching American Studies with a focus on US popular culture and movies.

During my studies, I paid my bills by working as an interviewer for a market research institute, and as a busker/street musician.

I blog on communitainment in (IT) business environments at http://wgreiner.wordpress.com.

You can get in touch with me at wilhelm.greiner (at) mitteilerei.de. (You guessed that last one, didn't you? :-)
